BassMan is
a bassist with roots in central Ohio - first pro gig at 15 as an original member of the Bobby Floyd Trio. He played in various rock cover bands in central Ohio in the 70s.
In the 80s he moved in to the college scene with alternative, metal and roots bands in Tennessee,
then with various blues and R&B outfits in Florida in the 1990s. Bruce's
finger-style bass ranges from classic rock to
back-in-the-pocket blues, funk and old school R&B. His vocal range is tenor, similar to Michael McDonald.
